After Thugs of Hindostan, Amitabh Bachchan will soon start shooting for his next, Jhund, from mid-February. Big B took to his blog informing that the schedule for Thugs of Hindostan will last till mid-February post which he will start working on Nagraj Manjule’s film.
The 75-year-old megastar wrote, “Most of the day is spent in getting the spine and shoulder to be somewhat functional so that when work starts tomorrow and it starts at night till morning on ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. There is some mobility for me to be able to perform. So, this schedule lasts till mid-February and then on to the next film called ‘Jhund’ … in Hindi, which for those language challenged, means a bunch of people.”
Regarding Jhund’s storyline, Big B stated, “The people here are a bunch of slum kids who meet the guy who takes them from a life of misdeeds to one of responsible nature and character. A biography in a sense. It is the life of a living human who actually did this and it’s in Pune from. Yeah, as I said, mid-February.”
The actor is currently shooting for Thugs of Hindostan which also stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. He recently shot a song from the film which was choreographed by Prabhu Deva. A source revealed to The Indian Express, “It was a sight to see the veteran actor match moves with Mr Perfectionist under Prabhu sir’s dance direction.”
The film is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is scheduled to release on November 7. This will be the first time that superstars Amitabh and Aamir will be seen together on the celluloid.
