Anupam Kher gets trolled over his compliment to Vicky Kaushal
Veteran actor Anupam Kher's compliment for Vicky Kaushal's performance in URI: The Surgical Strike, backfires.
The whole of Bollywood is going gaga over Vicky Kaushal’s latest film, URI: The Surgical Strike. That includes Anupam Kher as well. The veteran actor recently caught the Kaushal starrer and was highly impressed by his performance as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill. Unlike others, Kher left a 'unique' compliment for Vicky. In his tweet, Anupam welcomed actor Vicky Kaushal to the ‘actors’ world and praised him for his fantastic performance in the film. Well, his quirky compliment didn’t go well with the netizens who were quick to slam Kher.
Twitterati called out Anupam for his 'welcoming' remark. Some responded by saying that Vicky Kaushal has been an amazing actor ever since his debut in ‘Masaan’ and that he doesn’t need Kher’s validation. Some even compared Kher to the Raazi star and called Vicky a better actor. It didn't end there. A few called Kher’s decision to release The Accidental Prime Minister with Vicky Kaushal’s URI: The Surgical Strike, a bad one. However, there were people who praised Kher for his amazing portrayal of Manmohan Singh in the film. The internet can be a cruel place, guys!
Both The Accidental Prime Minister and URI: The Surgical Strike, released on January 11, 2019. While URI turned out to be a super hit, TAPM failed to impress its viewers.Read More
