Boman Irani honoured to be a part of Narendra Modi's biopic
Biopics have become a new successful trend in Bollywood. From freedom fighters to politicians, sports stars to businessmen, our filmmakers have managed to make some of the most sensational biopics. Such films are usually well-received and perform well at the box office. Joining the trend, a biopic on the Prime Minister of India – Narendra Modi, was announced with actor Vivek Oberoi in the lead and its first look created quite a lot of buzz. As an update on the same, Boman Irani gave his confirmation of being a part of this project.
Boman feels elated to be associated with this film. In his statement, he said, “It’s an honor to be chosen to be a part of such a landmark film. It’s a strong team comprising Sandip Ssingh (producer), Omung Kumar and Vivekanand Oberoi, and I am looking forward to working with them. This has been a great start to my New Year and I am looking forward to this remarkable journey.” While Vivek Oberoi will be stepping into PM Modi’s shoe, there’s no update on which character will be portrayed by Boman Irani.
