Ranbir Kapoor is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus Brahmastra in Bulgaria. The movie, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy, is the first part of a trilogy. Recently, wrestler Saurav Gurjar also joined the cast to play the antagonist in the film. He has earlier played Ravan and Bheem on the small screen. Incidentally, Saurav has also become Ranbir's new gym buddy now and it seems that the two are bonding extremely well while working out. The tall and handsome, professional kickboxer-turned-actor also took to Instagram to share a photo of him and Ranbir bromancing in the gym.

In a recent interview with The Tribune, Saurav had said, “In Brahamastra, I am playing a negative role. I am really very lucky to share screen space with Big B, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. I am very happy about the project and hopeful that the audiences will like my work in the film.”
Earlier, talking about Brahmastra, Saurav revealed in a statement, “It's a modern-day film set in India. But the reason it's called Brahmastra is because the energies, wisdom and powers in the film come from ancient India. Brahmastra is a weapon of Hindu God Brahma, who is called the creator of universe, and hence is considered quite powerful.”
Brahmastra, which is being bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is slated to release on August 15, 2019.
