Bollywood holds the power to inspire all and for some it goes beyond dreams of becoming an actor or actress. Just like its scripts that knows no bounds, its influences also go beyond national borders. The latest to get bedazzled by Bollywood’s glamour is a Brazillian who chanced upon its movie and fell in love with its action packed scripts. He then went on to show his love for Bollywood by creating a card game aptly named ‘The Bollywood Game’.
‘The Bollywood Game’ has all the elements that are typical of the industry, like a pretty heroine, a handsome hero and an ugly villain. The characters revolve around an ever changing plot which is dependent on the cards the players draw. Much like any Bollywood movie ever made, this game too comes with its song and dance sequences.
The aim of the game is to reach the happy ending but evil players can always play havoc by drawing cards that change your trajectory in the plot. The game can also be halted at critical plot points by using the intermission card as seen in our Bolly movies.
The 2-4 player game lasts roughly 45 minutes and is yet to be launched commercially as its maker Gustavo Bechtold is crowd funding the project on Indegogo. The game though a bit sketchy with its illustration of Sanjeev Kumar as Thakur from Sholay and Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey, does manage to capture attention with its bright colours and tricky cards.Bollywood nights are set to become better with this Brazilian twist.
