Does Sonu Sood regret leaving Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi?
Remember the day when actor Sonu Sood walked out of Kangana Ranaut's much-awaited Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi? Rumour had it that the reason behind Sonu’s exit was Kangana Ranaut's plan to reshoot major portions of the film and her inevitably becoming the director of the film. Sonu Sood has now opened up about leaving the film and the consequences of it. In an interview with IANS, the actor revealed how leaving the film will always bother him and he shall always miss the experience of shooting.
Sonu said, "Not being a part of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will always bother me. I will always miss that whole experience of shooting for the film because the film was very special to me. Sometimes things are not meant to happen and I was not meant to be part of Manikarnika. I just want to wish the team all the best. I am sure everyone has worked really hard on the film and film has to do well for every individual associated with the film." We wonder what may have lead to the change of heart for the man.

Contrary to reports saying that he had a problem with Kangana taking over as the director of the film, Sonu revealed that the reason behind his exit was the clash of timings between Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and his last release, Simmba. He further added that in Manikarnika, he was supposed to have a clean shaven look while in Simmba, he was required to sport a beard.
On being asked if he wishes to work with Kangana in the near future, Sonu said, “I don’t know whether we will be a part of a script which can justify both of us. As actors, we both are demanding. If something has to happen, I think God has to plan some really great script to make this happen.” Well, that sounds like a 'NO' to us!
