This is definitely a first for Bollywood, if not Indian cinema itself! Makers these days come up with unique promotional ideas, some of them remembered even long after the film has come and gone. But an all-new app matching the film's subject as well as purpose? We can't remember seeing any. Makers of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy have now launched Gully Beat, a 'rap ka app' in the true sense that can help you unleash the hidden rapper in you!
With Gully Beat, users can create and discover freestyle raps, and share it across the network as well. To do so, all you need is a beat and your lyrics, and the app will help you with music. Hip hop and rap fans across the country might find it immensely useful in exploring their own capabilities to a larger extent as well as experiencing other peoples work. Users are also enabled to share their work on social media. Excel Entertainment, on Thursday, announced the launch of the app.
Ranveer Singh, in Gully Boy, plays a street rapper gifted with an impeccable talent of rapping who slowly starts using it to express the rebel within him and gradually also becomes the symbol of Mumbai's underground music. Also starring Alia Bhatt, it hits the screens on 14th February 2018!
