Legendary actor Dilip Kumar celebrates his 96th birthday on December 11, 2018. He is widely knowns as the ‘tragedy king of Bollywood’. Known for his timeless classics, the versatile star's career spans six decades. Kumar has done more than 100 films that have impressed generations with his stellar acting prowess and magnetism. He is married to actor Saira Banu. Some of his films are pure gold, including Mughal-e-Azam (1960), Ram Aur Shyam (1967), Devdas (1955), Naya Daur (1957), Gunga Jamuna (1961), Madhumati (1958) among others. We all know that Dilpji’s real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan. But, he considered Uday Kumar and Vaaman Kumar before finalising Dilip Kumar. Well, during the peak of his career, Dilip Kumar used to charge a fee between Rs 5 lakhs to Rs 11 lakhs. Quite the whopping number for his time!
