Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy finally hit the screens on Thursday and fans have been going gaga over the film. The film, which brings us a unique storyline of Mumbai street rappers like Naezy, was showered with immense appreciation even in Berlin, where the film’s world premiere was held. The cast and the crew gathered for a special screening on Wednesday night, in which Alia’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor also marked his attendance. Now, it’s Ranbir’s dad Rishi Kapoor who is all praises for Alia Bhatt's film.
The 102 Not Out actor, who seems to not have watched the film as yet, stated that he has been coming across great reviews about the film. He wrote, "Hearing great things about Gully Boy. My best to the team for the great success. Zoya you do it again!" Alia was quick to reply to the tweet and was all hearts for the actor. We wonder what Ranbir thinks of his lady love's performance in the film.
The film sees Ranveer playing the role of an underdog rapper and Alia portraying the character of his fierce and possessive girlfriend. The film is supported by actors like Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz and Amruta Subhash and is helmed by ace filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.
