Badrinath Ki Dulhania pair Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are reuniting on screen for Kalank. The duo first collaborated for their debut film Student Of The Year, released in 2012, and then shared the screen space in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The two, undoubtedly, will remain one of the most-adored on-screen duos as all their films have been a hit so far. The actors share a cute and playful equation in real life and watching them romance on the big screen is truly a delight! However, at the teaser launch of Kalank on Tuesday, Varun shared about how the shooting of the film started with a fight.
The conversation began with Karan Johar talking about Varun and Alia being kids while doing SOTY and how they have grown up now. Alia then began sharing about her experience of working with Varun again and taunts him jokingly by calling him ‘Varun Sir’. A lot of you might be aware of the fact that in Bollywood, it’s quite normal to address the hero of the film as Sir on sets. Alia was then quickly interrupted by Varun who revealed about their fight on the sets of the film. Jokingly, he said that initially, Alia used to throw too much of attitude on the sets. Later, he revealed how Alia got furious and did not talk to him at all as he was ‘just 20 minutes late’ for the shoot. At which, Alia barged in to say that ‘the conversation never happened’. Varun then spoke about a scene, during the shooting of which, Alia fell down and he held her. He added that Alia had a burst of laughter after he saved her from falling and that was how the two patched up.
