Kangana Ranaut, who is anyway known to be a vocal and straightforward individual, has upped her voice during the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan that was fueled after the terror attack in Pulwama. In one of her statements, she said she was so enraged that she felt like reaching the border and shooting the terrorists herself. At a recently held success bash of her last release Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana has now slammed actors who are not politically aware, and targets Ranbir Kapoor in particular.
Kangana's statements date back to a decade-old interview of Ranbir Kapoor wherein he states that he usually shies away from making political statements since he has his basic needs covered and hence politics makes no difference to his life.
" 'Why would I talk about politics? We did nothing.' It doesn't work that way. You have to be responsible. I heard Ranbir Kapoor telling someone, 'I have my supply of water and electricity. Why would I be interested to talk about politics?' It is because of the country that your house exists. You drive your Mercedes with the countrymen's money. How can you talk like that?" she sharply said.

Kangana was accompanied by Manikarnika co-star Ankita Lokhande, who was seen smiling as she wore an appreciative expression as Kangana spoke on.
"We are film stars. We aren't involved in politics.' This is irresponsible. I can't be like that, Ii that ruins my career, let it. I can't be indifferent to other people because my own supply of electricity and water is intact. This has to change, and you (referring to the media present at the venue) should bring the change. How can someone want to be left alone? You should know what all the Government has done in the last five years. You should choose your leader accordingly," the actor added.
Of late, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and more have been under her radar as she slammed Bollywood for nepotism and not showing enough encouragement to her work. We wonder what Ranbir Kapoor has to say about her latest words! Read More
