Kangana Ranaut will soon direct her own biopic, will Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar find a mention?
The unapologetic Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut is back in the news! Her directorial debut film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi received a mixed response from the critics and audiences and now, fans are eager to know about her next film. Well, we have an answer to this, as her next directorial project will be a film on her life journey. Yep, interesting much! According to reports, Ranaut's life saga will be scripted by none other than Manikarnika and Bahubali writer KV Vijayendra. That's not it. Kangana has apparently even finalised the technical crew for the same. The film will go on floors by the end of this year, most probably in October or November.
Kangana confirmed the same to a publication and said, "Yes, it is true, my own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I’m emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am.”
She further also confirmed that Vijayendra Prasad will be the scriptwriter of the film. “Then, around 12 weeks ago, he (Vijayendra) urged me to let him write a film based on my life. I was nervous and wary initially, but then, given his stature and the fact that I trust him implicitly, I gave Vijayendra sir the go-ahead to the project.”

Further, when she was quizzed about whether her movie will showcase people who she had a tiff with, in the past, she said, “How can I show my journey without people, I can’t be walking alone. But we will not be taking any names. The idea is to protect me and my life with all its highs and lows. In the end, it is the story of an achiever, a girl from the mountains who came into Bollywood without any connections in the industry or even a godfather, and went on to carve a niche for herself against all odds, with some memorable films like Gangster, Tanu Weds Manu and its sequel, Fashion, Queen and more recently Manikarnika, bagging three National Awards along the way.”
We all know that Kangana's journey in Bollywood has not been a cakewalk and she had to fight many battles to reach at the top. Right from her fight with Hrithik Roshan (who she claims is her ex) to the nepotism remark on KJo's show, Kangana has had quite a few controversies in her name. As she mentions that her film will narrate all this but without taking anyone's names, we wonder how will it go down with her so-called enemies.
