Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi was quite an episode. Right from the film's inception and the eventful shooting period to all the controversies that cropped up, much happened around the film. Add to that, the rigorous promotional spree that followed. Probably because her last few outings were far from being hit, Kangana didn't want to take a chance. Soon after the film's release, she left to complete filming of Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga. Now it looks like she's ready to take a small break. Kangana has reportedly asked the makers of her upcoming release Mental Hai Kya to postpone the release.
"After the success of Manikarnika, Kangana wanted to space out her next film. Mental Hai Kya was coming exactly two months after Manikarnika's release, which implied that she would have to immediately dive into the film's promotions. She requested the makers for a breather as the period drama had taken a toll on her," a source told Mid-Day. Mental Hai Kya is scheduled to release on 29th March while Manikarnika released on 25th January.

When we got in touch with Kangana Ranaut's team to confirm the news, they said there was 'nothing official' about it yet. But looks the queen herself wants a break too!
