Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel slams Mini Mathur for terming Manikarnika as 'every film'
Kangana Ranaut’s latest outing, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been well-received by the audience. The film, which opened to rave reviews, managed to cross the 100-crore mark at the box office. However, like Kangana’s many other films, Manikarnika has had its share of controversies. The Bollywood’s Queen lashed out at B-Town celebs for not supporting her film. Just like the actor, her sister Rangoli Chandel, too, has made sure that she doesn’t leave a single opportunity to bring Kangana’s haters down.
Popular TV anchor Mini Mathur recently put up a tweet praising Ranveer Singh and Ali Bhatt's Gully Boy, stating the film left her with goosebumps. Responding to this, a Twitter user slammed her for choosing Gully Boy over Manikarnika and not taking out time to review the Kangana starrer. Mini replied to the tweet saying that she hasn’t watched the film yet and apologised for the same, seemingly in a sarcastic tone. “As the official national film critic it is my humble duty to write on every film,” she added. This didn’t go down well with Rangoli who retweeted the post to bash Mini for calling it ‘every film’. She asked the actor to not be ‘cocky’ and explained that the film is not an ordinary story.
Well, that was harsh! We now wonder what Mini has to reply next.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi marked Kangana's directional debut and hit the theatres on January 25.
