Kapil Sharma is returning to the small screen this Sunday, March 25 with his show Family Time with Kapil Sharma. Unfortunately, things are not rosy for the comedian and trouble seem to be hounding him all the time. It all began when a fight aboard an Air India flight went south. Kapil reportedly got drunk and hurled abuses at his crew. He even slapped co-star Sunil Grover, prompting him to leave Kapil’s show. Kapil then started working on Firangi, a film which tanked at the box office. Presently his new show, Family Time with Kapil Sharma is supposed to launch. Unfortunately, the comedian got himself involved in another spat with Sunil Grover.
This was followed by the cancellation of a press conference for the upcoming show. The shoot with the team of Baaghi 2 had to be rescheduled as well. Meanwhile, the channel decided that they would not take any more chances this time and sent out an official statement to clarify the reasons.
The statement said, "There has been a technical issue on the sets which cannot be resolved immediately. Hence, today's shoot had to be rescheduled. The press conference has also been rescheduled. We will update you on the revised dates. We apologize for any inconvenience caused."
Though the channel clarified its stance on the issue, it is widely speculated that Kapil’s spat with Sunil Grover is the reason behind this development.
