Kartik Aaryan dismisses rumours of working on Rakesh Sharma biopic
There’s been a lot of confusion surrounding the cast of an upcoming biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma. Aamir Khan was the first choice for the film, but he later opted out of it. Replacing him was none other than Shah Rukh Khan, who would be playing the role of Sharma. However, it was reported earlier this month that SRK too, stepped down from the film. Since then, a lot of speculation was around Kartik Aaryan taking up the role. However, a message from his spokesperson cleared all doubts.
According to the message, there is no truth to Kartik being approached for a space film. "We just came across this bit of news that is doing the rounds that Kartik Aaryan has been approached for a space film. However, we'd like to clarify that there is no truth to this news whatsoever," said the spokesperson. There are rumours of other actors being linked to the film as well. But quite frankly, who would do a film SRK has walked out of?

The year 2018 has been the most special year of my life ♠️♥️⏳ I can’t thank 2018 in more than one way. The year gave me Sonu. One of my career’s most memorable character and a character that made me take my first step to face the actual flashbulbs in showbiz. So much love and adulation from my well-wishers is a surreal moment for me at times. This year is not just about success, it taught me that Patience, hardwork, dedication and dreams never fail. It pays off. So many years at the movies and I finally make my debut in the industry in different spheres. Thank you 2018 and all you well-wishers of mine. I know with your love and strength, I can warmly welcome the new year with all heart 🙏🏻🎉❤️😘.
Vicky Kaushal, who recently released his film Uri: The Surgical Strike, and Rajkummar Rao are among the names that are popping up. There is no validity of these reports as we do not have any confirmation from either actor about their involvement in the film. Meanwhile, the film’s title has reportedly been changed from Salute to Saare Jahaan Se Achcha.
