After impressing us with the trailer and the first song, Sanu Kehndi, the makers of Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra's Kesari have now released the new track of the film titled Ajj Singh Garjega. The song is composed by Chirrantan Bhatt and sung by Jazzy B. It’s a good number that gives a perfect tribute to Sikhs. The lyrics written by Kunwar Juneja are just astounding, and of course, if there’s a song dedicated to Sikhs, the line, ‘Ik ik Singh sawa lakh uthe bhaari’ has to be there.
Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi that took place in 1897. 21 Sikh soldiers fought with 10,000 Afghan invaders. It is a true tale of bravery that every Indian must know. The song Ajj Singh Garjega shows us how the Sikh soldiers fought with 10,000 Afghans. It has visuals that would give you goosebumps. Let's not forget that Akshay Kumar is simply wondrous as Havildar Ishar Singh in the track. Looks like the actor is all set to give one of the best performances of his career. Apart from Akshay, the movie also stars Parineeti Chopra, but she doesn’t feature in this song.
Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar, Kesari is slated to hit the screens on March 21, 2019. It’s a Holi release, so we can expect the film to take a good opening at the box office as it will be a National holiday.Read More
