Koffee With Karan: Taapsee Pannu takes a jibe at Karan Johar, says she 'doesn't qualify'
Taapsee Pannu was not a part of Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan.
The latest season of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan, which ended last Sunday, was all about glitz, gossip and scandals. Why? KJo managed to rope in some of the best combinations for the sake of our entertainment. From an unexpected Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt to foe-turned-friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra, we have witnessed all sorts of drama. However, a lot of celebrities were missing from KJo’s couch, including actor Taapsee Pannu. The Badla actor, who is known for speaking her mind without any hesitance, made it a point to express her displeasure about the same by taking a dig at Karan Johar.
It all happened after the last episode of Koffee With Karan 6, which was an Awards special. The jury for the same comprised of Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora, Vir Das and Mallika Dua. A few days ago, Vir had taken to his social media and shared his glimpse from the episode. In a response to the same, Taapsee Pannu replied saying that she ‘still doesn’t qualify’ to be a part of his show, she said, “Hahahahha nice one. Just that Taapsee still doesn’t qualify to be here.” To which Vir replied, “You are brilliant in everything you do. That’s all the qualification you need!” KJo, are you listening?
Taapsee Pannu’s fans, too, seconded the actor. This doesn’t really come as a surprise, considering the fact that Taapsee, who has risen to fame by giving some of the most exceptional performances wasn’t invited. Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, who are yet to showcase their skills on the big screen, were a part of KJo’s show.
Well, one cannot deny the fact that all the privileged star-kids and celebs, who have managed to hit the headlines, have had an upper hand in being a part of this show.
Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu is gearing up for her upcoming film ‘Badla’ that co-stars Amitabh Bachchan. It will hit the big screens on March 8, 2019.Read More
