How many of you remember the 2014 film, Siddhartha? The one where filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt wore the actor's hat for a change and played a Buddhist? He was the on-screen father of Shazahn Padamsee, a Manali-based practising Buddhist in the film. Shazahn, later, shared that it was delightful to explore the actor in Bhatt. But that film also brought him close to Dalai Lama. Bhatt met him as part of his preparation for the role and had a long, intense conversation. After all these days, the two met again! In a photo shared by Pooja Bhatt, we can see the director kissing Dalai Lama's hands.
The Dalai Lama was in New Delhi to deliver a talk at the Economic Times Indian Leadership Council. The session was hosted Bhatt wherein they engaged in some really interesting conversations spread upon a number of subjects. The council is attended by the best minds of India including CEOs and leaders from various walks of life, all of whom were eager to listen to the Holy Highness.

Bhatt, who the last couple of production ventures (including Jalebi) made no noise at the box office, is returning to directing a film with Sadak 2, a sequel to his own cult film Sadak. The film will feature original cast Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt and Alia Bhatt has also come on board this time. It sounds like an intense affair already and we can't wait for Sadak 2 hit the theatres!
