It was only recently when the producer of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kamal Jain was hospitalised. He took to his Twitter account and issued a statement about his ill-health. Ever since then, reports of his deteriorating health and that he has suffered a paralytic stroke made it to the headlines. However, there's no truth to such news. The writer of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi - Vijayendra Prasad - has denied all the rumours. He revealed that Kamal Jain is admitted to a hospital but not because of a stroke. He further mentioned that the release Manikarnika won’t be affected.
Vijayendra Prasad said, “He is in hospital, but it’s not a stroke as reported. Kamal got food into his lung while eating. He was operated upon, and now he’s out of danger. The release doesn’t get affected. Manikarnika will be in theatres n Friday. We’ve all worked hard to see this film through. Kamal will miss out on the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Hopefully, he’ll with us soon to celebrate the film’s success. ”
Another person from the Manikarnika's team spoke about Kamal Jain’s health. "Yes, he has been hospitalised but it's due to throat and lung infection. His condition is not as critical as reported...But of course, lung infection is not an easy health problem to deal with either,” said Vishesh from the production team.
Wishing Kamal Jain a speedy recovery! Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is based on Rani Lakshmibai’s life. Starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead, the film is all set to hit the big screens on January 25, 2019.
