Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut is always on the spotlight for her controversies. The actor recently lashed out at Bollywood celebrities for not supporting her during the release of her latest outing Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Now, a new controversy surrounds her upcoming film Mental Hai Kya. A report by Mumbai Mirror on Monday suggests that the lady demanded solo posters for her film and refused to shoot for the posters until her solo posters go out first. However, it looks like that was only a rumour.
One of the producers of the film, Shaailesh R Singh rebuffed the rumours and took to Twitter to slam the reports. He posted an image of the article and called it ‘llliteracy’. He added that he and the other producers of the film ‘have no such information about solo or duet’ posters. He further called the article a ‘tasteless dish’ and attached a ‘puking emoji’ alongside it. While there have been no comments made by Kangana as yet, it’s pretty clear now that the actor has made no so such demands.
The film, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, will also star Stree actor Rajkummar Rao opposite Kangana. It's co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The film also marks the second time that Rajkummar and Kangana are sharing the screen space after Queen.
