Of late, Neha Kakkar has been quite in the news due to her ugly break-up with Himansh Kohli. The singer, who is basking in the success of her latest hit number Aankh Marey from Simmba, has been reportedly trying to come out of her vulnerable state of mind since the past 3 months. The two unfollowed each other on Instagram and that's when the speculations of their break-up started doing the rounds of the gossip mills. But little did they know that things would get so out of control that netizens will start blaming Himansh of dishonesty. Opening up on the same, Neha recently shared that she regrets making her personal life public and called it a ‘mistake’.
In an interaction with Bombay Times, she got candid about the social media flak and said, “I am a very emotional person. Whatever happened in my personal life in the last few months was very unhappy. I regret the fact that I made my personal life so public. It is during the bad times that you realise that people can be so negative towards you and that shocked me. Himansh did nothing to deserve all that (flak). He was nothing like that at all. Still he received so much hatred and negative comments on social media. I won't make the same mistake again. I will not make my personal life public.”
She added that she has moved on happily from the ‘bad relationship’ and is not open to love again. "Thankfully, I have moved on from this bad relationship. I am really in a happy space now. I have realised that my family is more deserving than anybody else in my life. I am happy with whatever happened because that made me realise the importance of my family members. With this bad experience, I am not open to love again. As I said, I am happy to be single!"
Following the bash, Neha also slammed fans
for ‘putting wrong allegations' on Himansh and added that she ‘never’ mentioned about any betrayal.
