Reportedly, Ranveer, while he was shooting for Padmaavat, had said that to get into the character of Khilji, he locked himself for almost a month to prepare for the role. Not just that, the actor also avoided seeing people at that time and also read a lot on the ruthless ruler. Kudos to the star!
