Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat was released earlier this year amidst much controversy. The Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer was praised by many. Ranveer Singh’s performance received special mentions from numerous critics. While some of the songs from the film were played on repeat by fans, it has come to notice that one number had been axed by the filmmakers before release. This beautiful track called Nainowale Ne is a romantic number that portrays the electric chemistry shared by Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
In the film, the track was set to play when Maharawal Ratan Singh had proposed marriage to Rani Padmavati. The video is well shot and has a few passionate moments. The vocals by Neeti Mohan set the tone and atmosphere for the track. The clip beautifully shows the slowly developing emotions between Padmavati and Ratan Singh.
For most of the clip, the shots are mainly in the jungle, where the duo had accidentally crossed paths. A few shots also revolve around the palace where Padmavati takes Ratan Singh to treat him for his injuries.
Though the track was deleted, it contains a few scenes which are used in the film, such as the shot where Padmavati hits Ratan Singh with an arrow and when Padmavati rushes out of the palace when Ratan Singh proposes to her.For fans who loved the film, the song is definitely a treat.
