Parineeti Chopra keen to venture into the digital world, but not over films
Bollywood actors are increasingly exploring the digital world. We have already seen Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, R Madhavan, Amit Sadh, Nimrat Kaur, Radhika Apte, Rajkummar Rao, Sunny Leone and others feature in web series. As we write this, we're waiting for Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar’s debut in the digital world. Recently, during a media interaction, Akshay’s Kesari co-star Parineeti Chopra revealed that she too is keen to do a web series and has been offered three to four till now.
When asked about doing web series, Parineeti said, “Indeed! I am getting a lot of interesting content for shows. In fact, right now I have three or four good shows, but I don’t know which one I will be doing or if I am going to do any of them. Because I am about to say yes to a show and then an amazing film comes, so I am like arre yaar film karte hai. But the great thing is that there’s a lot to choose from, so I am not able to decide where to place what and how to plan it. So that planning is going on.” That being said, if Parineeti ever decides to star in a web series, it won’t be her digital debut given that she has already been a part of web series. The actress had a cameo in Y Films’ Man’s World.
Parineeti is currently gearing up for the release of Kesari which will be hitting the screens on March 21, 2019. She also has Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Jabariya Jodi in her kitty. Reportedly, she has been roped in to star in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, but the actress didn’t confirm or deny the reports. The actress was last seen on the big screen in Namaste England which was a flop at the box office.
