Parineeti Chopra to take long train rides for the The Girl On The Train remake
Parineeti Chopra will be shooting in real locations in the company of real people for the remake of The Girl On The Train.
Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra had Kesari as her last outing, which paired her opposite Akshay Kumar. She now has the Hindi remake of the popular Hollywood thriller The Girl On The Train as her next. The original film had Emily Blunt as the lead actor and was helmed by Tate Taylor. We now have an important update on the remake. To get into the skin of her character, Parineeti will opt for long train rides in London, during the shooting of her first schedule of the film.
We hear that the actor will be shooting in real locations in the company of real people during her multiple train rides as part of her shooting. The shoot is to go on for 2 months. A source from the team informs, “It is a thriller than unfolds with Pari’s character witnessing things during her repeated journeys on the train. So, Pari will actually be needed to travel in trains through the course of filming to authentically capture the scenes. The train is like a very important character in the film and it’s important that we capture the scenes perfectly.”
Here's Parineeti's look from the film:
“What Pari goes through on the train is extremely important to the scenes in the film and its narrative. So, we had to shoot on real trains to ensure we stay true to the setting,” adds the source.
Moreover, it appears that Pari has also decided to not make any plans of socialising even though she will be stationed in the vibrant and colourful UK.
Based on the 2015 bestseller by Paula Hawkins, the film chronicles the story of a divorcee, who gets into a missing-person’s investigation. It will go on floors from mid-July and is expected to hit the silver screens in 2020.Read More
