On February 14, 2019, a terrorist attack happened in Pulwama, Kashmir. The attack has left the nation shocked and Bollywood celebs have shown their displeasure on the social media about the same. It was on Monday when the All India Cine Workers Association announced a complete ban on the Pakistani artistes. Then later in the day, the makers of Total Dhamaal announced that because of the terrorist attack in Pulwama, Kashmir, they have decided to not release their film in Pakistan. Now the makers of Luka Chuppi and Arjun Patiala have also decided the same that their movies won’t release in the neighbouring country.
Both the movies are produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films and he has cancelled their contract with Pakistan's distributors. While Luka Chuppi starring Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan releases on March 1, 2019, Arjun Patiala starring Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma hits the screens on May 3, 2019. We are sure fans of these actors in the neighbouring country would be quite sad about it. This makes us wonder if not releasing the movies in Pakistan will affect the box office numbers.
