Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has forever been in the news for his controversial remarks and his latest action is no different. It comes after the terrorist attacks happened at Kashmir’s Pulwama district on February 14, 2019. The brutal attack took the lives of more than 40 CRPF soldiers and took over the entire country by rage. Minutes after the attack, a Pakistan-based terrorist organisation - Jaish-e-Mohammad, claimed responsibility for the blasts. On February 19, the PM of Pakistan, Imran Khan finally broke his silence on the Pulwama attacks.
Imran Khan, in his statement, said that India should stop blaming Pakistan and it will retaliate if India makes a move. A part of his statement was, “It is easy to start a war but difficult to end. The issue should be solved through dialogue.” While the former cricketer-turned-PM received a lot of criticism for his ironic statements, Bollywood filmmaker, Ram Gopal Varma had a rather hilarious take. The Aag director asked a serious question to Imran Khan. Reacting to the 'dialogue' portion of his statement, Ram Gopal Varma mentioned that if problems could have been resolved by dialogue, Imran Khan wouldn’t have the need to marry thrice. Fair point well made! Before taking the Prime Minister’s oath, Imran Khan had three wives – Jemina Goldsmith, Reham Khan and Bushra Manika.
Ram Gopal Verma's queries didn't end there. He had a few more important questions for PM Imran Khan.
While the majority of people are taking the bitter route to express their disappointment, we love how RGV has raised a serious question, but with humour. Your turn Imran!Read More
