Recently, the actor was in Dubai to attend the Asiavision Awards and there, in an act of respect, he requested the audience to pay homage to the martyrs.
Ranveer won the Best Actor award for his performance in Padmaavat at the Asiavision Awards. When he went on stage to receive the award he requested the audiences to observe a minute of silence as a mark of respect.
