On February 14, 2019, when most of us were celebrating the day of love, over 40 CPRF personnel were killed in a horrific attack in Pulwama district in Kashmir. The attack has left the whole country in a state of shock. From politicians to sports personalities to Bollywood celebs, everyone took to their social media to grieve the attack. The attacks have surely created a lot of anger in the hearts of the people of this country, but there’s also the feeling of sadness over the loss of our soldiers. Recently, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and the team of their film Street Dancer paid their respects to martyrs on the sets of the film.
The shooting of the film is currently underway in London and the team observed 2 minutes of silence on the sets of the movie. Varun and Shraddha, both earlier tweeted about the attack. Shraddha called the attack ‘heartbreaking and devastatingly shocking’ and Varun tweeted that he doesn’t believe in violence, but our soldiers have suffered a lot because of the coward enemies. He believes that our soldiers deserve better. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that the culprits will be punished and we hope that happens soon.
Directed by Remo D’Souza, Street Dancer also stars Prabhudheva and Nora Fatehi. It is slated to release on November 8, 2019.
