One of Bollywood’s most popular filmmakers, Rajkumar Hirani was hit by the #MeToo wave at the beginning of this year. The PK director was accused of sexual misconduct by an assistant director on Sanju. The AD shared her ordeal with Hirani’s close associates – Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Anupama Chopra via an email. However, the filmmaker rubbished all her claims labelling them to be false, malicious and mischievous. Ever since his accusations came into the limelight, Hirani chose to stay away from making public appearances. However, we spotted the filmmaker along with Atul Agnihotri, who also happens to be the producer of Salman Khan’s Bharat.
Atul took to his Instagram and shared a picture of them seated opposite each other on a plane. The captioned stated that both Atul and Rajkumar were jetting off to Delhi. This image makes us wonder if this meeting was held to discuss the possibility of them working together in near future. Earlier in 2018, Hirani expressed his wish to work with Salman, “I would love to work with Salman Khan. I have met him a couple of times. But finally, it boils down to having the right scripts. I can’t pick up anything just because I want to work with Salman. I need to have the film first to work with an actor. It is not like I sign an actor and then proceed to make the film. That will be a bad idea.”
