Actor Rishi Kapoor is known to be unfiltered when it comes to voicing opinions in public. The actor, who has never shied away from raising his voice on any issue, has created waves several times with his sarcastic tweets. Days after the Pulwama terror attack and Surgical Strike 2.0, the actor has finally reacted to the India-Pakistan war. Taking to Twitter early on Sunday morning, he wrote that Pakistan should team up with India to wipe off terrorism.
He added that we have nothing against our respective civilians and if Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan fails to remove terrorism, it’s the Pakistan Army or ISI who should do it. He made a reference to Arun Jaitley’s statement in which the Jaitley said if Imran Khan truly means that he is against terrorism, he should appreciate India’s move of conducting air-strikes on terror outfits, who refuse to listen to Pakistan. Now, actor Paresh Rawal has also responded and replied to Rishi’s post saying that even if Imran Khan wishes to join hands with India, he cannot because of the Army and ISI.
Meanwhile, Rishi is currently in New York undergoing treatment for a yet-to-revealed disease. It is reported that the actor will be returning to India in a couple of months, although there are no confirmations there. “Rishi is homesick and very eager to return home. They have a wedding to plan (son Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly set to marry Alia Bhatt). And he’s counting the days. But he’s not ready yet to return. His treatment is slow but steady. Hopefully, he can come home in a few months,” a source told IANS.
