The trailer for the much-awaited Kaalakaandi is set to release on Wednesday and the makers are keeping fans excited by releasing a fresh and quirky teaser poster on Tuesday evening. The Saif Ali Khan’s black comedy has already created a huge buzz after they released a full-fledged teaser of the film in July 2017.
The 15 seconds long pink and black teaser poster is unique and compelling enough and it does justice to the movie’s title. The poster is accompanied by the song from the film being played in the background. It seems like the shadow of Saif's character from the film and by the looks of it, he will be seen in a cool-dude avatar again in this film.
Produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Ashi Dua Sara of Flying Unicorn, the film stars Saif Ali Khan along with the eclectic ensemble of Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raaz, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam. Earlier, the movie was slated to release in 2017, but owing to some issues with CBFC, the makers have now postponed the release to 2018.Khan was last seen on the silver screen in Raja Krishna Menon's slice-of-life film Chef which saw him in the titular role. The movie revolved largely around the relationship of Khan's character with his son and how they overcome their strained relations over food and also marked the Bollywood debut of Malayalam actress Padmapriya Janakiraman. Apart from Kaalakaandi, Khan's next outing will be Sacred Games, India's first original Netflix show.
