All the Salman Khan fans are in for a treat! While the superstar is currently busy shooting for his forthcoming film Bharat, here’s a piece of exciting news on his next. After stepping into a cop’s shoe in Dabangg, Salman Khan is all set to play a detective. Interestingly, it is going to be an official Hindi remake of a South Korean cop thriller titled Veteran. The news has been confirmed by the Nikhil Namit, CEO of Reel Life Production, which is owned by Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.
In an interview to an online portal, Nikhil said, “Salman Khan will be playing the lead role in the remake and that the rest of the cast and crew is to be announced shortly.” Reportedly, Atul Agnihotri has bought its remake rights from South Korea’s CJ Entertainment and he will be producing the film. Well, this news has already created a frenzy among all Salman fans, we wonder the kind of hysteria that will happen after an official announcement is made.

Talking about Veteran, its plot revolves around a young merciless detective who is against an arrogant millionaire who manages to escape his crimes due to his wealth and connections. By grossing a whopping $83.8 million, Veteran turned out to be the fourth-highest grosser in the Korean film industry.
Coincidentally, Salman Khan’s Bharat, too, is an adaptation of a Korean film called Ode to My Father. It also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff in the lead roles. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat will hit the big screens on Eid 2019.
