Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's high-octane action film Tiger Zinda Hai has already recorded thundering collections over the past weeks. The Ali Abbas Zafar helmed film has successfully impressed Salman-Katrina fans with its gripping storyline and lead actor's on-screen chemistry. After minting more than 300 crores in the domestic market, Tiger Zinda Hai is all set to release in Russia. The movie which is going to be dubbed in Russian already clinched another record even before its release. The Bollywood action blockbuster is going to get the grandest release in Russia and has become the first ever Bollywood movie to do so. The movie will debut in the Russian Federation on February 15 in 70 screens. Eminent Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted a Russian poster of the movie to break the news.
The Salman-Katrina starrer was the biggest Bollywood Blockbuster of 2017. The sequel to 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger also marked the second association of the star and the director. Besides Tiger Zinda Hai is the third film in Bhaijaan’s career to cross the glorious 300 crore benchmark. Earlier, his films Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan successfully entered the 300 crore club with their respective box office runs.
In the related context, according to producer Twinkle Khanna Pad Man is the Bollywood's first film that will release in Russia, Ivory Coast, and Iraq on the same day as it hits the screens in India. The film, starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte, is based on the story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who came up with the revolutionary machine that can produce low-cost sanitary pads.
