Actor Sanjay Dutt recently accused a book on him as unauthorized and is consulting his legal team over the issue. Several media outlets have run excerpts from the book for the last couple of days. Sanjay Dutt: The Crazy Untold Story Of Bollywood's Bad Boy is a book written by Yasser Usman and is published by Juggernaut. In a statement, Sanjay said that he hopes that no further excerpts will hurt him or his family. He also added that a legal notice has been sent to the author and the publishers of the book.

Sanjay alleged that the excerpts that are circulating in newspapers indicate that the book is partly based on old interviews, gossip magazines and tabloids from the 1990s. The actor insists that the rest of the material on the book is based on hearsay and are ‘figments of imagination and not true.’

The circulated excerpts include details of Sanjay’s alleged affair with Madhuri Dixit, the actor’s separation from his then-wife, actress Richa Sharma who had cancer, how Sanjay got rid of his drug addiction and an alleged romance with actress Tina Munim and what followed.
Sanjay Dutt was born to actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis. He made an incredible start to his career with Rocky in 1981. This was soon followed by his addiction to drugs. He restarted filming with hits like Naam, Sadak, Saajan and Khalnayak.
