Sara Ali Khan's birthday post for Janhvi Kapoor is sweet
Sara Ali Khan was one of the first ones to extend her wish to Janhvi Kapoor.
Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan’s debut films arrived back to back. After Janhvi’s Dhadak, it was Sara’s Kedarnath and immediately after which the latter was seen in her second film, Simmba. However, after Sara’s launch, there have been innumerable efforts made by the media to pit one against the other. From their fashion game to performances, the two have been compared on almost everything. However, even though the comparisons refuse to die down, the two have maintained a cordial relationship. It is Janhvi Kapoor's birthday today and Sara, like a good friend, has sent her wishes.
Janhvi celebrates her 22nd birthday and Sara was one of the first ones to extend her wish. Taking to Instagram, Sara put up a stunning picture of the two standing alongside each other. It’s a throwback picture which has Sara donning a white playsuit with a halter neck and Janhvi is seen in a light grey sequined mini tube dress. Through the caption, Sara wished the birthday girl to have a wonderful year ahead and attached a heart emoticon along with cakes and gift ones.
During an interview in January, when Sara was quizzed about her 'competition', she called Janhvi ‘stunning’ and said, “This whole thing (rivalry) about Janhvi and me is so funny. We’re both extremely comfortable and confident in our skin. I respect her, she respects mine and at the risk of speaking for her, we respect even those people who make those collages. Their money also depends on it. Do it, we don’t mind. Some days she’ll look better, some days I’ll look better. It’s all good."
Likewise in the case of the Dhadak actor, she shares a similar point of view on the media-made rivalry as in one of her interviews, Janhvi had said, "There is no competition. I am looking forward to watching her films as an audience member." That's nice. We like how there's zero cat-fight in the industry now.
On that note, we wish you a very happy birthday Janhvi.
