Shahid Kapoor will soon be at the season finale of Neha Dhupia’s chat show BFFs with Vogue. He will be seen with his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor. The couple have already shot for the episode and besides the fun and chat sessions, Shahid expressed his views on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He also shared a message for Modi on the show.
Shahid said everyone is trying to keep India clean and politicians should also try to do the same.
When host Neha asked Shahid to give a message for Modi, the Padmaavat actor said, “We are all working towards swachhta (cleanliness), and we promise that we will keep things ‘as clean as possible.’"
Shahid is currently shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The film is based on the problems of power shortage and huge electricity bills, and is slated to release on August 31. Batti Gul Meter Chalu is being directed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh. Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
