Bollywood’s celebrity kids are quite popular on social media and they are clicked by paparazzi every time they get a glimpse of them. While many parents are cool with the attention that their kids get, Shahid Kapoor seems irked by the amount of attention his daughter Misha receives from the media.
Speaking to Mid-day, the Padmaavat actor said “My daughter didn't choose this glamorous life. What's her fault? I hate to think of all the glare that's on her. That is probably the only time I feel I should have had another job. I don't want her to deal with it. It's not good for children to go through this. They have a right to a normal childhood."
Shahid went on to add that he had normal childhood though he is the son of Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem, both of whom were actors. He claims that no one knew that he was Pankaj Kapur's son until he joined the film industry. Apparently, he became popular only after an IMDB page was made about him. “My mother was a struggling actor, who separated from my dad when I was growing up. I got to know my father only after turning 18. So, I had a regular middle-class childhood, devoid of attention," the actor told Mid-day.
Reportedly, Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput had requested the media to stay clear from their kid.
Interestingly, it is papa Shahid who is often seen sharing photos of his toddler on social media. As we all know, anything on public platforms can go viral. Naturally the media caught up with the posts and little Misha became popular.
