Sonakshi Sinha lands in legal trouble, star sued for a whopping Rs 37 lakh
Actor Sonakshi Sinha has been booked in a case of accepting money but not turning up at an event she was supposed to perform at. Reportedly, she was set to perform at an event in Delhi on September 30th, 2018. Following her absence, Pramod Sharma, owner of Moradabad-based company India Fashion and Beauty Award filed a complaint on November 24th. On the ground of that, a case of cheating was filed against the actor and four others reports ANI.
“I tried convincing her a lot to perform at the event and even told her that I will incur huge losses if she doesn’t come, but she refused to perform," Sharma told the news agency. Reportedly, she also accepted payment of Rs 37 lakh and the organisers spent an extra 7 lakhs on her accommodation and travel.
