Surgical Strike 2.0: 'How's the Josh' asks the internet after India strikes back
URI: The Surgical Strike's "How's the Josh" is trending on Twitter post the Balakot surgical strike.
It was only two weeks ago on February 14, 2019, when people throughout the nation were shattered to come across the news of terror attack at Kashmir’s Pulwama. More than 40 Indian army men were martyred. It was carried by Jaish-e-Mohammad, a terrorist organisation based in Pakistan. As a part of their outrage, all the Indians were demanding for revenge and the government, too, protested by cutting all ‘remaining’ ties with Pakistan, by various means. However, on February 26, the Indian Air Force took revenge for the dastardly Pulwama attack. Reportedly, the strike was carried out at around 3:30 in the morning.
12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets of the IAF dropped 1,000 kg of bombs at the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror camps that were placed across the Line of Control (LoC). They have successfully destructed all the terror launch-pads located in the Balakot district of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). The reports further added that between 200-400 terrorists were killed in the attack. Pakistani official, Major General Asif Ghafoor confirmed the news. Following the retaliation, there’s an atmosphere of happiness everywhere and when we think of a successful strike, how can we miss the super-popular dialogue from Vicky Kaushal’s URI: The Surgical Strike.
