The Accidental Prime Minister has opened in theatres to polarising reviews. Based on the book of the same name by Sanjaya Baru, the film chronicles Dr Manmohan Singh's time as the country's Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014. While some are hailing it one the best films of Anupam Kher's career, others are calling it a half-baked, shoddy propaganda film by the opposition. We narrowed down the two of the best reviews of the film - one by Anupam Kher's mother Dulari and another by the former CM of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah.
We must warn you, these opinions are the reviewers own. Of course, Anupam Kher's mother had the sweetest things to say, but then again, the film stars her son. Omar Abdullah is a scion of one the political families of India. Abdullah doesn't hold back on criticising the current government in power. So, what did these two have to say about The Accidental Prime Minister? Have a look:

Mother of all Reviews: Dulari Watched #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister and has given her review in a One minute video. Her first sentence was frightening. “ऐसे कोई acting करता है?”😳. And she almost acted me out. But what followed was a great endorsement for my performance. Her observation about #DrManmohanSingh is spot on. Her review is my ultimate reward. After all these years Mom is relieved that I can act. Jai Mata di. 🙏😍 #DulariRocks #DulariReviewsTAPM #FilmReleasesToday
And there you have it! If these reviews don't give you a hint about the movie (and maybe why it was released just a bit ahead of the elections) we don't know what will.
