The Sky Is Pink: Priyanka Chopra says it was a challenge to go from 22 to 60!
Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink.
Global star Priyanka Chopra is all set to step her foot in the tinsel town after a three-year-long hiatus. She will be seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink, shooting for the same has reached its last schedule and it will be hitting the big screens this year. Talking about the same, PeeCee spoke to Mid-Day, wherein she opened up about the film and her role. Priyanka revealed that for her, it was a challenge to switch from 22 to 60 after Saat Khoon Maaf (2011), wherein she was seen in various avatars, from young to old.
Priyanka said, “Though the film is about parents losing their child to an incurable disease, it's a unique take on death — one that celebrates people's lives instead of mourning their death. It was a challenge to go from 22 to 60 after 7 Khoon Maaf (2011). I was able to sink my teeth in the part." The actor was also asked about her absence in Bollywood and whether she misses it, to which she said, “I have missed the madness of Hindi movies. I don't look at it as a choice between Hollywood and Bollywood, it's the magic of movies. The first thing I did after Quantico was a Hindi movie. My career in both countries is dear to me, and as long as people want to watch me, I'll stay.”
