Varun Dhawan discovers ‘hidden gems’ of Indian music
The Varun Dhawan-Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga has been on our lips for quite a while. Filming is going on in full swing and the actors are working hard to see it through. Most recently, Varun and Anushka were in Muradnagar, a town close to Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, shooting for their upcoming film. Previously the team had shot in Chanderi, Bhopal and even New Delhi. While travelling in Muradnagar, Varun spotted a number of ‘hidden gems’.
Varun’s Instagram story shows videos of a number of locals who gathered to play music on a train. It is not usual to see celebrities taking trains, but Varun doesn’t seem to mind. From the looks of it, the team was on a vendor compartment. A man can be seen playing a harmonium and singing as others join him. Varun was so impressed with the performance that he shot multiple videos of the singers. The Judwaa 2 actor captioned one video as ‘Hidden Gem’ and the other ‘Wowww”.
He also shot a video of local kids dancing and waving at him. Varun felt that it was amazing to see that the film had touched so many people.
We are not sure if the performance or the singers are going to be part of the film. It could well be that the team had been taking a break or just chilling with the locals.
Previously, the team was spotted shooting in New Delhi. Varun and Anushka were shooting for a sequence in an autorickshaw.
Sui Dhaaga is being directed by Sharat Kataria and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film will release on September 28.
