Varun Dhawan is all set to be waxed. A team from Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is all set to immortalize the Judwaa 2 actor and all arrangements are being made to get the actor red carpet-ready. The team from Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is doing everything required to ready up the wax version of the 30-year-old actor.
Huge honour can't wait to come there and stare down my wax figure. Thank you https://t.co/b0OrfTuFMb— Varun Dhawan (@Varun_dvn) October 16, 2017
The actor, however, has raised a concern over his measurements before the statue is unveiled. He hopes that the Madame Tussauds team has gets his smile and butt right. According to reports, more than 200 measurements were taken, and the Tussauds team had also matched the hair and eye colour of the actor.
Nonetheless, Dhawan is excited about the statue, “It was quite surprising for me when they approached for it. I remember, as a kid in my holidays, visiting Madame Tussauds’ and clicking pictures with Mahatma Gandhi’s statue. So this is a huge deal for me to be the youngest actor from India to get his own statue,” Varun said.
The actor shared the news on social media this October along with pictures and wrote, "Huge honour can't wait to come there and stare down my wax figure. Thank you." It turns out that Varun is the fourth Indian to get a wax figure in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong after Mahatma Gandhi, Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan, which are currently on display.
