Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are all set to work together for the first time in their upcoming film, Sui Dhaaga - Made in India. Directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma, Sui Dhaaga is a heart-warming story of pride and self-reliance, based in the heart of India.
During a Twitter session with his fans, Varun was asked when the shooting for Sui Dhaaga will begin. He replied that it would be in February 2018.
Earlier, in a video shared by the co-stars with a black and white background, Varun and Anushka pay an ode to Mahatma Gandhi.
Varun believes that his chemistry with Anushka will be superb and the film will go well with the audience. According to reports, the actor believes that the ideology of ‘Made in India’ has been popularised in the country by the likes of leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. That gives him immense pride in the fact that he can spread this ideology to the masses.
Reports also suggest that Anushka, who has always played humane characters is extremely happy on hearing this script. Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is slated to release on September 28, 2018, during the Gandhi Jayanti weekend.
