Vicky Kaushal played the role of an army officer in Uri: The Surgical Strike, a film that was based on the terror attacks that took place in Uri in September 2016. The movie received a phenomenal response at the box office and went on to collect more than 200 crore during its run in theatres. A few days ago, just like the Uri attack, India faced another ghastly attack in Kashmir's Pulwama district that took the lives of over 40 CRPF soldiers. Needless to say, the attack has shocked the nation. We spotted Vicky Kaushal at an event on Saturday and asked him what he thought of the Pulwama attack and the actor was brutal in his reply.
The actor said, “I am someone with little knowledge about what we should do. It is very easy to say do this, do that, this should be done and that should be done, but then there are many repercussions to that. So, I think our government would be thinking about it and people who have the knowledge need to talk about it, so we should leave it to them. We feel the pain and anger, this incident should not be forgotten or forgiven.”
