Trust Kangana Ranaut to screw one wholeheartedly when she is irked. While the actor reached the peak of controversies with her nepotism rants against Karan Johar on his chat show, she is now picking up on Bollywood celebs for not supporting her film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. With Kangana Ranaut being in question, how can the controversy be so thanda? It all started after Krish and Mishti accused Kangana of being arrogant and not giving them the due credit in the film. All being done, Kangana’s latest target is none other than Alia Bhatt.
It was during one of her interviews, where Kangana opened up on how none of the Bollywood stars supported her during the Manikarnika fiasco. Kangana blamed Alia of not reciprocating her gesture. The actor revealed that she watched and supported Raazi after Alia Bhatt requested her to do so. However, when it came to her latest flick, Manikarnika, Alia was least bothered. To which Alia responded by saying that she had no intentions of hurting Kangana and that she will apologise to her.
But Kangana being Kangana; she is no mood to stop. The actor in the latest interview disclosed that she got in touch with Miss Bhatt to confront her about the same. She said, “I reached out to Alia and asked her what makes her think Manikarnika is my personal controversy, it’s a film whole nation is talking about and wondering why Bollywood keeping quiet on such a relevant work... I asked her if I can be courteous and gracious to acknowledge her requests of encouraging relevant work that she does, why she is so scared to see my film. I suggested that she grows some spine and support an important film about woman empowerment and nationalism… if she doesn’t have a voice of her own and her existence is all about being KJo puppet then I don’t consider her successful... I told her if she is only focusing on earning bucks and not a voice then her success has no value.... hope she understands true meaning of success and her responsibilities, the Nepo gang life is simply restricted to give and take favors hope she rises above that.” Damn!
We await Alia's reaction on this.
