While others indulge in occasional planting, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will begin full-fledged farming soon

Just a few days back, we came across pictures of Aamir Khan planting a tree at Whistling Woods International Institute. He's not the only one, of course. B-town celebrities keep participating in similar go-green activities while raising awareness about the environment. Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar are prominent advocates of eco-friendly practices.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, however, is one step ahead in being close to nature. Here's what we are trying to say. The celebrated actor will now buy a piece of land near Mumbai where he can indulge in full-fledged farming.

"Of late, it has become difficult for Nawaz bhai to travel all the way to our village, owing to his hectic schedule. So, last month, he decided to buy a plot close to Mumbai. That way, when he is not shooting, he can drive down to Kasara and spend some time at our farms," his brother Shamas Siddiqui told Mid-day.

Nawaz originally hails from Budhana, Uttar Pradesh. He finds farming a great means of relaxing and would go back to his village whenever he has the time!

Waiting to get glimpses of his Mumbai farmland already!
