Chris Hemsworth aka Thor turned 35 on August 11 and his friends and co-stars took to social media to wish him. Prior to that, Hemsworth was ambushed by one of his kids while trying to share a picture of himself with his wife. Hemsworth landed face first on his cake full of candles and he joked that he’ll be playing Deadpool if Ryan Reynolds pulls out.
In true Deadpool style, Reynolds replied to him saying that his daughter ‘stabbed me in the right eye’ though she’s a d**k not a ninja. He then joked that they can finally trade roles. Chris’ co-star in Infinity War, Josh Brolin sung a birthday song – completely out of tune - for his friend and then mockingly puked!
That’s not all, Dwayne Johnson came up with a special birthday song for Chris, who shared the video on his own profile. Dwayne said that Hemsworth is the fourth greatest Chris he knows, after ‘Evans, Pine and Pratt. Hemsworth shared the video from his own account and said that The Rock’s birthday message brought him joy. He also added that his children now think that he is cool ‘cause they know he’s friends with Jumanji.
Meanwhile, Hemsworth is working on Bad Times at the El Royale, his upcoming film for 2018. He will also star in MIB and the fourth Avengers film, both of which are due in 2019.
